在美國田納西大壩

曾這麼許願過

要應用美國科學技術

來扶持侵略戰爭凌辱下

中國潰凋的民生

At a Tennessee dam

Made such a wish

To apply the American top technology

To help war-ravaged China

在戰後的重建

來開發

來整頓中國

讓中國能有水力發電

In the postwar reconstruction

To develop China

To build up an infrastructure

So that the electrical light

Can replace the backward gas light

如天上的一顆北斗星辰

下凡濟世

宏亮的經世濟國

永遠是翩然有禮

實驗的君子

Like a star from the Big Dipper

He descended

To serve the world

Forever a gentleman

In his experimentation pursuit

感謝上蒼的憐憫

What a wonderful life

With a beautiful Chinese soul

You cruised the world

Blessed millions mortality

All the virtues and achievements

Were heaven’s graceful sympathy

禮供北斗七星簡軌

太上玄靈北斗

太上老君。太極宮中。觀見眾生。億劫漂沉。生在中華。或生夷狄之中。或富或貴。或賤或貧。暫假因緣﹐墜於地獄。乃以哀憫之心﹐化身下降。北斗本命經訣﹐普濟眾生。

北斗七星﹐中天大聖﹐上朝金闕﹐下覆崑崙。

條理綱紀﹐統御乾坤﹐大魁貪狼﹐巨門祿存。

文曲廉貞﹐武曲破軍﹐高尚玉皇。紫微帝君。

大周天界﹐細入微塵﹐何災不滅﹐何福不臻。

元皇正氣﹐來合我身。

北斗北極小熊星科學家如是言之爾雅日。

北極謂之北辰﹐公羊傳日北辰亦為大辰﹐又日北斗。

上方之貪狼﹐巨門﹐祿存﹐

文曲四者﹐稱為四魁﹐下方斜出之廉貞﹐武曲﹐破軍﹐稱為三杓。
